On behalf of the Chemical Society of Tunisia (Société Chimique de Tunisie - SCT), we have an immense pleasure to invite you to participate to the 2nd international conference on Science and Engineering of Polymeric Materials (SEPM 2016) which will be held from 24th  to 27th  March  2016 at Royal Thalassa Monastir Hotel at about 1H30 South East of Tunis (the capital) by bus.

 

The first edition of SEPM organized in 2014 was successful owing to the participation of prestigious Plenary and Keynote speakers and to excellent oral and poster contributions from several countries. Many participants encouraged us to organize the second SEPM and to broaden the scope of this event. SEPM remains a forum for polymer chemists and physicists but we aim at putting the emphasis on timely social economic issues of polymeric materials such as energy storage, sustainable development, and life sciences.

 

Many renowned speakers have already accepted our invitations to give Invited lectures. With your participation and input, we do hope that SEPM 2016 will be an even more exciting conference than the first edition for all delegates and especially for young participants (students and post docs). There is space also for SMEs and industries from Tunisia and foreign countries who are willing to attend ; this initiative will permit to all delegates to discuss industrial developments of modern polymeric materials.

 

With over 20 century-long history and heritage from various civilizations, Tunisia is an appealing and charming North African and Mediterranean country. The conference will take place in the sea resort of Monastir, in the mild climate spring season.
