Chemistry Africa - CHAF
Journal of the Tunisian Chemical Society
Since 2018, the Tunisian Chemical Society (SCT) has reached a historic milestone in its commitment to the dissemination of knowledge. Following a strategic agreement with the prestigious global publishing house Springer Nature, the Journal of the Tunisian Chemical Society has transformed into Chemistry Africa (CHAF).
A Major Institutional Milestone
This partnership marks a turning point for Tunisian research: Chemistry Africa has become one of the very first Tunisian scientific journals to join the global elite publishing circuit. This transition has propelled our publications to worldwide visibility, positioning the SCT as a key player in chemistry at the international level.
A Journal of High Scientific Quality
Today, Chemistry Africa is no longer merely a regional journal; it is a platform of excellence recognized by the most selective academic institutions:
- Impact Factor (IF): With an impact factor of 2.6, it ranks among the most dynamic and influential journals in the region.
- Prestigious Indexing: The journal is proudly indexed in the global databases Web of Science (SCIE) and Scopus.
- Forward-Looking Topics: It covers all branches of chemistry, with a particular focus on sustainable solutions and innovations addressing global challenges.
By partnering with Springer Nature, the Tunisian Chemical Society provides researchers with an exceptional platform to showcase their work to the international scientific community.
Journal of the Tunisian Chemical Society
Since March 1979, the Tunisian Chemical Society has regularly published a scientific journal, with two issues per year (June and December).
The SCT Journal is abstracted and indexed by the «Chemical Abstracts Service - CAS», which publishes its abstracts.
Nineteen volumes containing 83 issues of the Journal were published up to December 2017. The recent issues of the Journal (from 1985 to the present) are available in PDF format on the SCT website.
